Oscar de la Renta Bridal Spring/Summer 2015 About the Collection

Oscar de la Renta’s latest collation was magnificent. The whole show, and collection is so whimsical and magical. This collection had such an ease and breath of fresh air. So feminine and beautiful,  Oscar de la Renta and his collections always bring so much to the bride of today. Such a sense of fashion and timelessness, truly breathtaking. Love the essence of the beautiful soft flower girls, this collection was just beautiful and tied together so well. This Spring 2015 collection was a lesson in classic elegance. Chantilly lace, silk organza and traditional tulle took on a new life with embroidered overlays, pearlized prints and sequin detailing. Off-the-shoulder gowns and illusion necklines ruled the runway while accessories, like crystal headbands, pearl necklaces and dramatic veils, cued the romance.

Best of the Spring 2015 Bridal Collections

The season of wistful white dresses is upon us. Get a glimpse at what you or the betrothed ladies in your life will be wearing for their upcoming nuptials with the best looks from each of the top collections from Oscar de la renta, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Inbal Dror and more.

Vera Wang 2015

Vera Wang 2015

For Vera Wang’s Spring 2015 collection she said she was inspired by the “lightness of being, delicate and discipline, sensual and seductive.” The fabrics were worked in light layers of tulle and lace, with silhouettes ranging from minimal, chic columns to more intricate princess and mermaid styles. A new shape was a delicate lace shirtdress that looked modern and fresh in its simplicity.

Reem Acra Spring 2015

Reem Acra Spring 2015

“I spend so much time studying the bride,” Acra said backstage, adding that she makes sure to offer something for every type. Silhouettes included columns, traditional ball gowns, flattering fit-and-flares and a sweeping circular style in cascading chiffon. Known for her intricate embroideries, Acra also played with beautiful appliqués, reembroidered lace with crystal and pearl embellishments.

Oscar de la Renta Spring 2015

Oscar de la Renta Spring 2015

Oscar de la Renta took an elegant and timeless route with his bridal runway show. “We tried to cover a lot of bases with the collection, from very classic to dresses for exotic places,” he said. “The idea is always to make that girl feel very special.” To that end, a princessy floral Chantilly lace number covered the traditional ground while a cotton eyelet bikini top with matching pareo spoke to the beach-bound bride.

Carolina Herrera “Charlotte” 2015

Carolina Herrera “Catarina” 2015

Carolina Herrera stuck with her roots as this collection focused on “hidden luxuries” such as tulle gowns that veiled a layer of embellished lace. While many looks were traditional and romantic — the embroidered gown in degradé lace with a crystal belt, for example — Herrera also featured a few more modern numbers such as the two styles done in laser-cut lace motifs — one all over and the other as an appliquéd detail — for a cool edge.

Inbal Dror 2015

Inbal Dror 2015

The rise of fascination for our Israeli designers has been a new offering for the bride of today. Ever After Miami commissioned Inbal Dror for creating the unique assortment for the collection in our Miami showroom. Her sense of editorial imagery has brought a new customer through our doors.

The end to a fabulous trip to market. So excited to style all of my new brides in these stunning collections.

As I expressed while interviewed by WWD I was enthused by the abundance of soft, sensual deconstructed dresses for spring. “Each designer really kept a sense of their own signature. Vera Wang’s film was very on point as to who her customer, Oscar showed us lots of new necklines, Carolina’s Use of layering lace and embroideries was really beautiful.”

An Extraordinary Ever After experience in Panama

This month I had the absolute pleasure of dressing EA bride Johana Shahani for her wedding in Panama, it was a spectacular weekend filled with love and memories.

Working with Johanna Shahanni was an exceptional journey that began at Paris Fashion week.

New York Fashion Week; Fall 2014 RTW Collections

February is a gorgeous month in the city of Manhattan. Fabulous weather, great memories and incredible garments. As we begin the new year, Ready To Wear takes the runway at Fashion Week. This season Carolina Herrera showed us a whimsical side, Vera Wang showed us her grunge side and Reem Acra brought us those stunning red carpet gowns.

A gorgeous start to Fashion Week

“A whimsical play on proportions,”  Carolina Herrera promised before her show, and she definitely delivered.

Great day in the city, getting ready for the next show

Fashion week is such a spectacular time in the city, walking into the next show at Bryant Park, Reem Acra.

Reem Acra Fall 2014

Beading was prevalent, often in the form of thick cherry-blossom branches extending over one shoulder of a dress or cardigan. Reem Acra had stunning pieces for every Red Carpet look.

Such a pleasure running into EA bride Alexis Stoudemire at Vera Wang

“You Bug Me.” That was the message stamped across a black T-shirt that came marching out over a plaid button-down and a long black leather skirt. Why the attitude? Because Vera Wang, wedding dresser to the stars, has gone grunge. Stranger things have happened on a runway, but that tee definitely qualified as a surprise.

Paris Fashion Week; Spring 2014 Couture Collections

To be a lover of fashion you breath it through every vein in your body. It is an intoxicating attraction to beauty and expression. These qualities I believe have given me a deeper meaning for the gown that one wears for her wedding day. Traveling to Paris brings couture to my inner core viewing garments made by hand, grasping the art, sophistication and the fantasy of the world of Haute Couture.

Camille Thirry Russler has arrived in Paris

The designers in Paris who have been registered by the register of Haute Couture showcase their artistry and intricacies of their craft. A designer receives this honor when he or she is asked to commission such a collection. I have had the honor of attending these presentations in Paris by designers Gianbattista Valli, Alexis Mabille and Elie Saab. When it comes to wearing these gowns on your wedding day, two options are available to you.

Elie Saab Couture Show

Gorgeous piece from Elie Saab

The world of couture is very private and one must be invited to receive an appointment in the designers Paris showrooms. I have had the privilege of receiving invitations on my behalf for my private clients to commission a couture piece for their wedding day. This is an amazing experience and one that is growing rapidly for our extraordinary Ever After Brides.

One may also view couture pieces in the Ever After Miami showroom designed by Giambattista Valli. After each couture collection presentation in Paris, I meet in each of the designers showrooms to select exclusive one of a kind pieces to be created in beautiful hues of white, which will hang in the Ever After Miami’s showroom to be viewed and experienced by the Ever After Bride.

These gowns may be truly customized to your every desire and then presented and reviewed by Giambattista to commission a piece for you.

At the Eifel Tower

The world of couture opens our mind to the beauty and the creativity that represents art in true form and brings the wonder one longs for in an appreciation for the fantasy of Fashion. With pleasure, I encourage my brides to fall in love with their gown. If  you are not moved by the beauty and love you view in the piece you must keep searching.

The search for your wedding dress is one of the only moments to take the time to review and be received by such a grand and historic piece of fashion.

You will commission this piece to be worn for your wedding day and the art of your reflection and pure beauty should be alive in this most memorable gown. Paris, and the world of couture it was a pleasure.

Happy New Year #2014

The compass to 2014 creates a framework to the coming years vigor and life. In the start of every year one reflects on the past, dreams of the future and plans for the present.

The year ahead has a specific vision and purpose and I feel it is alive in all I have met with this year. Energy, creativity, vision and promise for an extraordinary year ahead.

Reem Acra Fall/Winter 2014 About the Collection

The Reem Acra bride is young, fresh and modern. Reem expresses how this collection is a reflection of the modern day bride. This collection was romantic, sensual yet modern. Every silhouette is light, and feathered like. Reem Acra’s Fall 2014 collection is all about the silhouette. A-line shapes, column dresses and fit-and-flare styles are combined with textures like organza, tulle and silk gazar. Lace has a major moment but in a modern way.

New York City Bridal Market; Fall 2014

A singular voice reflects a congruent message to ones experience. Fashion can mean a variety of things to different people. The inside view of the fashion shows and showrooms brings a fuller understanding of the business we breathe.

Camille Thiry Russler before her first Market Appointment

My team of stylist each represents one singular message, to create a unique sense of the bride through beauty. We search for the inner beauty the women encompass and then we dress her to become the bride she is meant to be.
