Designer Oscar de la Renta crafts works of art for the Spring 2014 Bride (and her Bridal Party) to wear on her Big Day.

The Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 Bridal Show started off with a white tulle strapless dress bedecked in blue silk organza floral appliqués and silver embroidery and ended with a pink tulle strapless ball gown, the bottom half of it’s skirt in ivory organza flowers. In between it all, de la Renta opted for all white and ivory looks, every one just as special as the next. Highlights included an ivory gown with Chantilly lace cap-sleeve overlay and ruffled layers of tulle, as well as an ivory silk taffeta sweetheart gown with thread work and sequined embroidery. Watch the show come to life and see my response to the latest collection.

A Look Back At New York Bridal Market Spring 2014

How lucky am I to represent icons?! Six days of fashion for the White Dress!

Becoming a bride is an iconic moment in one’s lifetime. Your image as a bride will live on beyond your years. This market, my thoughts were about the woman behind the image. Who is she? What she wants… Where she will marry… When will she choose her look? Why do we have weddings? How do they find their iconic look?

As a buyer you can loose sight of the task at hand as the billion-dollar business of fashion unfolds. This market I kept myself focused on the core of what I do… I find beautiful gowns that I can dress my EA Bride in to make their moment complete.Fashion is at the roots of what I love in the white dress.

I recalled my beginnings in this business as the freshness and newness of the clean, simple, and elegant statement of a bride. The special moments that occur during Market are a constant source of inspiration.

The moment a designer pushes her limits and exceeds your expectation in design. The runway presentations that are so beautiful to behold that they move you from within. Those breathtaking moments of surprise are so rewarding, when you have been in this business for over a decade.  These are the ideas that move a buyer to create her spectacular assortment of gowns. As a modern day fashion curator my job is to build the best offering of the White Dress at a luxury level for my Ever After Bride.

This Market was all about finding the soul and centering oneself at the core of bridal fashion. Understand your customer, LOVE your job, and deliver nothing but the BEST value, service, and experience at this priceless moment in time. It is a true honor to work with the timeless fashion of the White Dress.

A Prelude To The Spring 2014 New York Bridal Week

Friends, business partners, contemporaries- what do all of these words have in common?  They all reference back to human beings and the relationships we keep. The business end of my boutique is founded within the relationships I have created in the exclusive niche that is the bridal market.Although in a completely different context, your wedding is also very much about these same relationships found throughout our lives. While planning your big day, your friends make their opinions and judgments known on who will be in your inner circle and how to share this moment and make your dream come true. Selections must be made carefully with thought and precision.

As I move forward in this business of delivering you nothing but the best in the white dress, I must look beyond traditions and build the perfect assortment of nothing but industry’s finest.

My brand Ever After houses art in my showroom that must speak to my brides through the glass casing on a very intimate level, in order to create that bridal moment. There is no room for mediocrity.  Collections must deliver and connect with the woman who wears the gown. I can dress you and take you there, but I must believe in the look and approve the message being sent out. When working with the finest collections that the bridal industry has to offer, a curated look should exude beauty and luxury on every level of your bridal look.I am so blessed to hang nothing but the most sought after designers and collections that deliver nothing but the best in bridal couture season after season!

Camille Thiry Russler and Ever After Participate in an Evening of Bridal Luxury with Vera Wang and Modern Luxury Brides South Florida and the Caribbean Magazine

Sunday March 3rd was magical evening in the Magic City. Through my relationships with Vera Wang and Modern Luxury Brides Magazine, we were all able to bring a very special experience to the Miami bride. Vera Wang’s runway presentations are among some of the most anticipated shows during the New York Bridal Market. To bring this inspiring experience to my local Miami bride was truly a special moment for me and my team. Below are some of my favorite images from that weekend:

Camille Thiry Russler Visits Manhattan for Fall 2013 Ready To Wear Fashion Week

A New York minute passes us by with each turning of the page on to the next passing trend as we watch our American runways deliver functional fashion and inspirational collections for all to enjoy.

As the seasons pass, the unique elements of standout collections bring fashion to the lives of millions today. Today’s market can react at such a rapid pace because of one’s access to digital media on all of its various platforms. We have truly given a new meaning to the term instant gratification.

I feel the sense of the true meaning of the collection and the message of the designers live within the runway presentations as they breathe life into the garments. When I make the effort to travel to Fashion Week, it is to keep my finger on the pulse of the fashion industry. I bring back to my Ever After the latest trend reports and bring the relevance of the season to the White Dress.

My customers benefit from the innovation of a modern day curator of fashion who relates all of her elements back to creating breathtaking looks for one of the most memorable moments in her lifetime!
